Subject to the agreed scope, support may include communicating with international patient departments, coordinating appointment inquiries, organizing questions about written estimates and identifying the documents a provider requests.

We can also help coordinate communication between the client and separately appointed travel, translation or other service providers. Their availability, terms and responsibilities are confirmed directly for the assignment.

Make the information easier to compare

A hospital estimate may include different services from another provider’s estimate. Useful questions concern what is included, what may be charged separately, the assumptions behind the quotation and how follow-up is arranged.

We help organize those questions so that you and your medical advisers can evaluate the information. We do not assess clinical suitability, select a treatment on medical grounds or promise a particular result.

Careful handling of sensitive information

The initial inquiry should contain only a general description of the coordination need. Medical records should be shared only after the appropriate authorization and transfer arrangements have been established.

Any provider relationship, referral payment or other material interest relevant to the engagement should be disclosed before the client proceeds. The client must be able to distinguish advisory fees from hospital and third-party charges.
